Invitation to All Secondary School Students

melbourne docklandsTransported invites teachers and their students to present their projects on any topic related to public modes of transportation—for example:transport in your city, history, ecology, doing the maths of the cost to the environment, dissecting the terms (what do you understand sustainability in transport to mean?), art projects, essays… the topics are as wide as the consequences that transport has in our daily lives. Dare to present and your team may be selected to attend the Transported forum!

What do you have to send/do:

1. Send us a brief explanation of the topic of the project/work that your class or team has investigated (around 400 words or less).  Include the name of your school, your teacher, your team, your class, year level and address.

2. Create a blog (we recommend blogger or WordPress) and place the information there, include photos of your team, your pictures, models, artworks, what ever you think explain the task)

3. Let us know when you are ready and we will create the link to your blog… and that is all!

4. Your project will be published within our Transported webpages and projected on our screens during the forum. Your team will also receive an arch-peace certificate acknowledging your participation. If selected, you may be invited to join the transported workshop and forum in September 1, 2007

Please note: that given our scarce financial resources, we can only invite students from Melbourne, however, we will link to all students’ projects independently of location. It is up to the respective schools or parents to assist the students to cover any transport costs. We will provide and extremely nice and healthy lunch.
